Our own Hospitals Under the able guidance of Dr. Santhosh Koshy, MD (Paed). Koshys Group owns two hospitals (Little Flower Hospital - 50 bedded and Koshys Hospital - 100 bedded Multi and Super speciality hospital) to provide adequate learning environment for our students and for easy integration of theory and practice. Dialysis, Renal Transplantation and Neonatal Surgeries are some of the latest medical treatments that have been successfully facilitated in the super specialty departments of the hospital.
Nursing is a profession focused on assisting individuals, families, and communities in attaining, re-attaining, and maintaining optimal health and functioning. Modern definitions of nursing define it as a science and an art that focuses on promoting quality of life as defined by persons and families, throughout their life experiences from birth to care at the end of life.
During first year the student will undergo course of instruction in the following subjects: Sociology, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Basic Principles and Practice of Nursing, General and Educational Psychology, Microbiology, Introduction to Community Health Nursing.
In the following years, the subjects covered are; Pharmacology, Medical and Surgical Nursing, Community health nursing, Statistics and Introduction to Nursing Research, Growth and Development including Nutrition, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Nursing Education. The final year consists of Midwifery including Gynaecological Nursing, Nursing Administration, Trends and Issues in Nursing.
Coaching is given for the students to face competitive exams like CGFNS, IELTS and NCLEX to take up jobs abroad. The institution also offers assistance to graduating students to secure placements in leading hospitals in India.

Nurses can be found providing care in in major medical centers, long term and short term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, community agencies such as home care, clinics and schools.There are innumerable nursing employers in the USA, UK and many foreign countries. You will be able to work almost anywhere your imagination takes you. Nurses are found in cities, rural areas, overseas, in the armed forces, at home, in institutions and industries.
